It is an honor to invite you to the Second Annual Kuwait Breast Diseases and Oncoplastic Reconstructive Surgery Conference, to be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, State of Kuwait. The conference will be held from the 9th to the 11th of January 2010 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, State of Kuwait.

Over a period of three days a multitude of topics and events will be covered, including a Poster display. The conference activities include an outstanding exhibition with the participation of non government organizations. Their contributions promote breast health care in Kuwait which is tremendous. The medical exhibits highlight the latest and most recent advances in Breast Diseases and Surgery.

The conference will aspire to act as a nucleus for improving and establishing channels of communication between the Gulf States, neighboring countries as well as international breast care programs with the primary objective of patient education, early detection and timely management of breast cancer.

Issues that will be covered during the conference will encompass the following:

• Epidemiology of breast cancer, both global and as pertaining to the Middle East.
• Oncoplastic management of breast cancer.
• Benign breast disease management and risk assessment for development of malignant diseases.
• Guidelines of breast disease management.

Registration will be on site.

• Medical personnel fee is 10 Kuwaiti Dinars.
• Medical Students and Nurses are welcomed free.
