HSC Lync

HSC Local messaging and collaboration (Microsoft Lync 2013)

Lync 2013 communications software creates a virtual connection between you and the people you work with. It lets you talk, share your desktop and programs, and work together in real time, all from your computer.

With Lync 2013 you can:

  • Show your status (Available, Busy, off work…etc.).
  • Share a personal note.
  • Specify your Location.
  • Chat with your colleagues.
  • Make voice & video calls.
  • Create online meetings.
  • Share your desktop or a program.
  • Show MS PowerPoint slides.
  • Write on a whiteboard.
  • Send & receive files.

To start using Lync 2013 on your HSC office computer, do the following:

  • Download & run the Lync 2013 installer from here.
  • Click “install” on the setup window.
  • After successful installation close the window.
  • Lync 2013 will start & login automatically, if not, start it from start menu & use your HSC credentials (HSC Account) to login.
